Hubby gets up at the crack of dawn and goes dear hunting Every year he says he sees one and they are to far away. he did get a 13 pointer a number of years ago. I think he would rather watch them then shoot them if truth be told. but, he decided to get this one. He had to drag it down a long hill. and he has problems with his back Don't know why he didn't go after his truck. silly man. I reckon we will be eating deer and turkey the next few weeks. lol I never cared for deer . but I reckon we will have it anyways. hugs sheila
Lucky him! I love deer meat. Especially the sausage. I have my order in for one with some deer hunting friends. Hope we get a biggun'. I was going in to town this morning and saw a big buck and a doe. That's actually the first time I have ever seen a LIVE buck before. He had a nice rack, too. I was really surprised to see him still around.

Yay for you Sheila. Deer meat is the most lean red meat there is. Very good for you! My dh got a 7 pointer about a month ago and we have already put quite a dent in the meat. Hoping he gets another one soon.
