Today is pin cushion making day! I have just declared it! I have picked out 3 -4 patterns I like - now to make them and decide which to send - or maybe I'll just have to send more than 1!

I believe my package to you will be at your door today! Yes I made two.. The round one was just a test. And it passed. I will be making that one again and again.
Ladies, can you please post some photos of what you have received???

Kathy, I just checked on yours and it should be out for delivery today too! I will be outa town this afternoon so I won't get yours until I get home this evening but I will let you know I got it and then post some pics tomorrow when there's daylight. :)

Package is all wrapped and ready to go. My DH will mail in tomorrow for me. His truck is off the road at the moment, so he takes my car every day to work and to do the school run so I am stuck at the house most days now. You should have it soon. Photos are enclosed as well.

Kathy, I got my pin cushions and they are gorgeous! I *LOVE* the heart one especially with all it's little artsy details :) Thank you so much. I am going to take my pins out of their make-shift pin cushion and put them in my new ones and then I will get some pictures tomorrow when we've got some daylight. You did a wonderful job!

Thank you Siobham, I am glad you like them. I had wanted to fill the heart part way with some crushed walnut shell. To help keep it steady. But my husband would not let me open the bag. See, he uses walnut shell to blast paint off car parts and other metal item. But the shell is also very good in pincushions because it helps to keep your pins and needles sharp. He had some sand too but it was used. And I did not think anyone would want used sand with tiny paint chips in a pincushion.
I received yours yesterday too. Honesly, I don't know what I love more, the pin cushion or the letter you send along with it. And you are right, I too almost never make things for myself either. I love the pins you made. I will use them only on my most special items. I hope you join in more swaps. You did a fantastic job. You are a wonderful swap partner!
I can not knit. Well, I can knit a very little. A scarf is all. I need to find someone I can knit with. Someone to teach me a little more.

Yours is done ... I think it is CUTE!! CUTE!!! My hubby said "GOOD JOB!!. And everything is all packaged up . . . BUT I have to work every day (7 AM-7 PM) until Tuesday afternoon. AND, we have been SLAMMED big time with snow. So, I won't get to the post office until Tuesday afternoon, at the earliest. But I will let you know when it does go out so you can be watching.

I received my darling pincushion today...thank you so much!!
I had to share a photo with our fellow 'farmgirls'
It is so colorful and springlike...love it !
The sweet hand made card was special as well.
