can you use plastic spray paint to change the colors of them, then use a dremel drill and attach ribbon to create a hanging cone, then hot glue lace around the egdge and add a few sweet gifts in the inside of them or use them to hold fake flowers like an old fashioned tussie mussie? you could also hot glue yo-yo's onto them to create unique yo-yo Christmas trees. add button embellishments in the centers of the yo-yo's for added glitz.
