So all day yesterday I as in excruciating pain. Doug had to go buy some Excedrin for me, and I hate taking pain meds. One tooth is super sore with no signs of any cavities (I have NEVER had a cavity). Doug thinks is might be and abcess . I've only ever had one when a tooth was being rejected by my body due to a bike wreck years before.
Anyway I got a new power toothbrush and I am wondering if I was a bit too vigorous in it's use. I hope that was is and not that I have an abcess. UGH. Lately it feels like if it's not one thing- it's another.
Oh and yesterday was hubby's birthday and he fell down the stairs and is pretty banged up. Poor guy!
Oh I hope that isn't it! I'm feeling no pain right now but I know that is because of the excederin. Darn... That probably means I need to make an appointment with a dentist... *shudders* I hate dental work. Ever since I had a bike wreck when I was 8 I have hated dentists...
I hate to hear of any tooth ailment. Hope all is great tomorrow. Marly

Sherri- actually I woke up to only a dull ache and I didn't take any meds before going to bed so they are all gone from my system. Whatever was causing the pain has either worked itself out or maybe it was sinus pressure that has been alleviated. Who knows- all I know is that I am RELIEVED!
Alee, just watch that you don't start getting a fever. If you do get to the dentist. Then it is probably is abcessed. The pain from that is unreal. It just gets worse and worse until you are waiting for the novacaine to get in there. I ened up having a root canal from. Truthfully, I thought the root canal was nothing. My husband has had several and thinks the same thing. We do have a fantastic dentist. Maybe thats why. Good luck.

Thanks Mary Jane. I have had several root canals all related to my horrific bike wreck when I was 8. I too think they aren't really anything to get flustered about. I think that people get freaked out just because of the name, but if you have a good doctor than it is a painless proceedure. I will be the first to admit that I am a total dental wimp though. Laughing gas, novicaine and lots of positive imagery get me through!
