I hope none of this is TMI!!! Yesterday they stripped my membranes hoping that would get labor started naturally. I slept fairly well but this morning.....well there are very obvious signs that this just may work!!! I hope I'm not getting my hopes up to quickly but I'm fairly certain that everything I've experienced this morning means that a baby is eminent!! SO, please pray things really do get started and we will have a baby within the next day or two!!!! |

As painful as that process is, I am praying that it will jump start little Eden's coming!! :D What great news that it looks like she's deciding to make her own entrance! :) hugs!!!

Best wishes to you Misty, how exciting!
And a question, what exactly is stripping the membranes??? Not the same as breaking your water?

Thanks everybody....I've posted in the parenting about our little girls arrival! Diane....stripping the membranes is when they separate the bag of waters away from the cervix. It usually dislodges the mucous plug and causes the cervix to start to dilate. It doesn't break the water but it does start labor!! |
