Okay Farmgirlfriends,
I know this probably sounds really hokey, but I can trust you with my heart, right? My farmgirl pursuits take quite a bit of my time and so you, farm girls on this web cite, I feel a kinship with that I don't have elsewhere. I'm so glad you understand. I would like to swap cards for the holidays with as many of you as possible. It would be just ducky if I could receive a card and a photo of you (with your family maybe) and I will return the favor. So as many as of you who respond, we'll make a connection all over the country and hopefully the world -- you other continental friends! I hope you'll help me out! Holiday Hugs, Karen

Hey Karen!
I know last year we did a Christmas card exchange. All who participated would make preferable home made Christmas cards and mail them out. My kitchen wall was covered in farmgirl christmas cards. It was wonderful! I don't remember who headed it up, but it was very fun!
Just thought I would pass that along!

I am in if this means just one card plus a photo of me to Karen/kkprice.
If this is a cardswap with more than 10, I can't afford that sorry
I think I can manage about 10

I'd love to participate, but don't know if I would have time to make home made cards for that many. Would store cards be OK? If not, maybe another year.

Thanks!

Karen (kkprice)-

I feel the same way you do. I would love to do this. With as many swaps as I am in, I won't have time to make cards, but would love to send purchased ones, along with a photo, to all my new farmgirl friends. I luv this idea...

Have a good day!

Count me in, I would love to share cards with my "farm family". We don't get as many cards as we used to, so would love to send as many cards as we can afford. :)

Count me in also. We don't get but maybe 3-4 cards each year it's kind of sad that people don't mail them out anymore. I do get email cards but I can not hang them in a row somewhere in the house.

It sounds like a good idea my friends!!! Is there someone who organized the "BIG EXCHANGE" last year that might like to set this up? We can have ladies indicate if they'd like as many as possible or whatever works. My brain is not coming up with how to make this work. Assistance please!! I can't make that many cards at this point in the year, so I'd say let's send 'em how we've got 'em. Let mek now!!

what is the cut off date for sign-ups? we need one of those so we have enough time to mail them all out.

Is everyone making cards or can they be purchased cards (i don't make cards)?

If no one else wants to do it I could. I'm already doing the christmas card swap. Just tell me what to do. or give me ideas on how to do this.

I would love to host this one. The way I see it is I would collect all addresses and send them to you all on a list. YOu all would then be responsible to send your christmas cards to everyone on the list. 44 cents to make someone's season happier! I am in. I think I will have pictures developed at Sam's Club or Price Club. Maybe there would be an even cheaper place, I'll have to look.

Like you all, we only get a handful of christmas cards these days. Wouldn't it be grand to get more christmas cards and to see what good lookin' families we have?

Should we start a new thread with all information on the first page?

What do you y'all think?

Have a good day!

I think it would be really cool especially since everyone can't send a lot of card to everyone on the list if you have people say how many parners they want and pair them up. I'm already hosting a christmas card swap and a lot of people could not do it because they could not send everyone who signed up a card. Just an idea.
