3. What is your favorite movie? Dirty Dancing 2 Havana Nights,
4. How many animals do you have? None. I'm in an apartment...
5. What is your favorite book? The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
6. How long have you been on MaryJane? Umm...it's been a few years, I think, but just recently started posting more...
7. How old are you? I'm going to be 30 in a month & a half....yikes!
8. Name 3 of your favorite hobbies? Reading, crocheting, embroidery
9. What are you wearing? Pajamas
10. Favorite food? I love mashed potatoes, peas & carrots from the garden, fresh picked fruit. I have way too many favorite things in the way of food!
11. Favorite season? In order: Late spring, fall, winter & summer. I would rather have winter than summer (sunscreen, bugs, bites, mosquitos, sunburn, heat...I could go on for a very long time about the things I don't like about summer. If it stayed at a "normal" 20C, I would be fine.)
12. Pet peeve? Stupid annoying drivers.
13. If you could be any movie star who would you be? I wouldn't want to be a movie star. I like my privacy & am not a very outgoing, public person....

2. Do you have any kids? Oh yes. I have 7. Only 4 still at home.
3. What is your favorite movie? Country (an '80's "mom saves the farm" movie with Jessica Lange)
4. How many animals do you have> 1 perfect Jersey cow named Mona, two Icelandic ewes (Juliet and Trixie, one angora goat (Pearl), 4 bunnies, a couple dozen banty hens in assorted breeds and 5 roosters (4 too many) 3 dogs (2 bassets;Stella and Maggie and one weiner dog named Frank) and 3 cats (Pumpkin, Alice and Fiona)
5. What is your favorite book? Besides the scriptures I would have to say...The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
6. How long have you been on MaryJane? nearly since the beginning.
7. How old are you? just turned 51. gulp.
8. Name 3 of your favorite hobbies? gardening, canning, knitting
9. What are you wearing? old bib overalls, brown tee shirt with brown lace trim, hand knit socks
10. Favorite food? fresh garden tomatoes with cottage cheese (and I love roast chicken too)

1. Are you Married? Yep...just celebrated 8 years married, 9 together, in August.
2. Do you have any kids? Yes. One perfect little pippin, Violet Mae.
3. What is your favorite movie? That's tough. I think I'd have to say Sense & Sensibility or Becoming Jane.
4. How many animals do you have> 6--4 dogs, 2 cats. But we feed a lot of "friends" from the outdoors, too, so I always think of them as our pets, too...
5. What is your favorite book? A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
6. How long have you been on MaryJane? 4 1/2 years, I think. 3 under the name Kygurlsrbest...took a break, now back again and it's been a year or so.
7. How old are you? 36 (tomorrow!)

Yes, to my highschool sweetheart.

Yes! We have one lovely daughter named Nora who is a source of great amusement, amazement, and at times- frustration. But I couldn't imagine life without her!
3. What is your favorite movie?
Hmmm- that is a hard one. I can't think of a favorite off the top of my head!
4. How many animals do you have?
Two- a dog named Sky, and a horse named Tala.
5. What is your favorite book?
I love so many books it would be so hard for me to pick one. I love the Little House books, pretty much anything by Orson Scott Card, and Anne McCaffrey has been my long time favorite author.

1. Are you Married? yup for 3 years to a great guy
2. Do you have any kids? yes 2, a boy whos almost 4 months and girl who's almost 17 months
3. What is your favorite movie? braveheart with little women coming in close second followed by petes dragon... my list just goes on and on
4. How many animals do you have? oh my. a fish we call el conquistador de vivaldi ... my husband named him and he has like 6 or 7 names in there. i call him el conquistador. but it's so odd to say that all we have is a fash because I grew up with at least 30 animals and at the peak we have like 80. sad.
5. What is your favorite book? God's Word! and then this book called Created to be His Helpmeet which completely rocked the boat on my ideas of what a marriage could be. it's incredible!
6. How long have you been on MaryJane? somewhere around 3 months.
7. How old are you? 26 - i didn't realize i was 26 until 6 months after my birthday when I told someone I was 25 and my husband said, no I think you are 26. i did the math and sure enough! I'm sure it'll get worse every year. I'll be 43 telling people I'm 38 only because I forget! ha!
8. Name 3 of your favorite hobbies? knitting, bird watching, cooking

10. Favorite food? hm. home made soup.
11. Favorite season? oh whatever season I'm in I love. or I'm pining away in summer to wear my winter coat or in winter wanting to wear summer dresses. it's southern california, there isn't a lot of change, dry season or wet season is all we get.
12. Pet peeve? well i've been working pretty hard at not being annoyed and bitter. and it must be working because I can't think of anything!
13. If you could be any movie star who would you be? well I always play this game when I watch any movie with my husband, if the main boy and girl and going through a rough spot I get so wrapped up in the story that I say to my husband how could you do that to me!? and then during the love scenes we snuggle and I tell him he is so sweet for jumping off of a building to save me, or whatever the hero did for his girl. so, in real like I'm not so much a fan of movie stars. but in the movies they play I think I'd want to be Lorrie in Rogers and Hammersteins Oklahoma because her and Curly are so playful and scary things happen, but he protects her. so cute!

3. What is your favorite movie? Anything with Lucille Ball, but I'm not a big movie or TV girl!
4. How many animals do you have> 2 wonderful golden retrievers- Bonnie and Bear
5. What is your favorite book? I read way too many good books to ever have a favorite, but I do have a soft spot for those books that got me reading in the first place- Carolyn Haywood books.

7. How old are you? 50 this past summer

9. What are you wearing? Comfy pants, and a holey old sweater of dh's. I just got yelled at again by middle daughter for having it on! ;)

This is fun reading everyone's responses!
1. Are you Married? Yes, have been married to my best friend for 3 years.
2. Do you have any kids? No.
3. What is your favorite movie? The Shawshank Redemption, Lonesome Dove, Mona Lisa Smile, Dances with Wolves (apparently several favorite movies now that I think about it).
4. How many animals do you have? 7 dogs, 1 horse, about 1,500 head of cattle.
5. What is your favorite book? I have so many it's hard to pick a favorite. I love Jane Eyre, From the Corner of His Eye (Dean Koontz), and anything written by L.M. Montgomery. My husband and I both like to read. Our house is FILLED with books of all different types.
6.How long have you been on Mary Jane? About 4 months. Best discovery so far this year. All the farmgirls are absolutely fabulous.
7. How old are you? 31
8. Name 3 of your favorite hobbies? Gardening, Trail riding (horses), cooking
9. What are you wearing? Boots, jeans, longsleeve T-shirt.
10. Favorite food? There are so many things it's hard to choose just one. I really do love Sushi though, I could eat it every day!! And I'm a huge chocoholic and caffeine addict.
11. Favorite Season? Autumn. I am enjoying the fall so much this year, it's just wonderful.
12. Pet Peeve? I also have several of these, but my biggest is people who neglect and/or abuse children and animals.
13. I would definitely NOT want to be a movie star. I am about a hairs breadth away from being a complete hermit, and if I could pull it off I'd never leave my house. But, if I could LOOK like any movie star, I'd probably pick Angelina Jolie before she got so thin.

1. Are you married? I still say yes, I've been a widow for a little over 2 yrs, we were married in 1973.
2.Do you have any kids? Yes, 3 boys and 1 girl, ages 28, 30, 32 and 35
3. What is your favorite movie? Thats a hard one, but I will say " Dances with Wolves".
4.How many animals? 5 dogs,3 house cats, 30 or so barn/outside cats, 1 parrot, 1 cockateil,2 parakeets, 1 dariy cow,4 black whiteface cows, 3 steers, 4 nubian does,2 ewes,2 sows,1 boar,15 new zealand rabbit does and 1 buck, chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese, 3 ponies and 2 horses

1. Are you Married? - Yes, 12 years
2. Do you have any kids? - 2 daughters (34 & 27) and son (25) and then 2 sons acquired by marriage (36 & 34)
3. What is your favorite movie? - Don't have a favorite but there are several I would see over and over and over . . . . .
4. How many animals do you have? 2 - Jake, our pound puppy, and Penny, our rescued boxer, both black and white
5. What is your favorite book? - no favorites - but I have several favorite authors
6. How long have you been on MaryJane? - less than 1 year
7. How old are you? - 56
8. Name 3 of your favorite hobbies? - knitting, reading, needlework - I also like cooking

| I;ve been married 42 years to my penpal, married only 10 days after first meeting. We have 2 daughters and lost our only son a few years ago.Fav movies are Singing in the Rain, Rocky 1 and 4, Harry Potter(all of em) and The Godfather. There are 5 dogs on my bed with me at the moment. 5 cats hiding in the woods. 15 rabbits, 2 mini horses and 2 pygmy goats and a flock of fancy pigeons outside. Oh and I have 20 Serama chicks in the spare room and a few hens around here too. Fav book, hmmm I am a voracious reader, even read the back of milk cartons.I am 60 yrs old, been on MJ about a year. dont post often.Hobbies are anything with a needle, raising rabbits, and crafting, I prefer Winter for its quietness, bug free, Love getting snowed in. slows life down so we can just relax and sew. Spent my Summers in Hollywood as a child with family in "the industry" chose to live in the michigan wilderness instead..no pet peeves...everything bugs me equally!!!lol |
