The Heart of Texas Farmgirls are making big plans! We've been laying low for a while but now are ready to get going strong again!
Within our Heart of Texas Farmgirl group, we are planning to have sub-groups to reflect the different sections of Texas. Here are their working names so far:
Panhandle Farmgirls
Big Bend Country Farmgirls
Hill Country Farmgirls
Prarie Farmgirls
South Texas Farmgirls
Gulf Coast Farmgirls
Piney Woods Farmgirls
We will be looking for Henchos to help form these groups. Each group will also have a place in the Heart of Texas Henhouse.
Brooke(LilWing) will be the Hencho of the Gulf Coast Farmgirls. Others will be announced as they are formed.
We are hoping each group will be able to have once a month meetings and a big Heart of Texas Gathering will happen once a year.
Heather (Catscharm74) is our new Newsletter Hen! She'll be keping us all informed, announcing our get-togethers and anything else we need to crow about!
Be looking for more announcements as we heat up the HOTTIES! If your a Texas Farmgirl, we invite you to join us! Contact Brooke (LilWing) if you need more info on any of the sub-groups.

Lavonna, I am going to do some "scouting" around and see what we can put together. I am sure there are some girls. This is ALL in beginning stages so it may take some time to get the groups together. :)

Well, tiff, so far, if you'd like to be the Hill Country Group leader so far, you may be welcome to. I am planning on using some flyers out and about to try and bring the gulf coast ones together. We are actually working some things out here behind the scenes. There may be more groups than we know. So we're finding out about that.

Well, it is not like we are next door to each other but I am ok with it. I know there are several people who were from the area I am in. I just cannot find their names. Tanna is in Ft Worth, there was a mother/daughter pair south of Ft Worth.
I remember now that i posted with them all before and that should be in the archives of my posts. I will go check that. Do you want me to give one of you the list or do you want me to try to get in touch with them? I do not mind to but you all could tell your plans. I will go gather names now.

Looks like Magnolia is just south of the Piney Woods, by maybe a hen's whisker. So, it's Gulf Coast for me.
