See the pic of the hems I have collected..

DRUM ROLL,PLEASE....THE WINNER IS BEESKEEPERGIRL!!
I cut some long pieces of an old quilt and cut them into about 10 inches long..I joined the blue jean hems with the quilt pieces and made a Blue Jean n Quilt garland for a Xmas tree.

beeskeepergirl-please send me your address so I can get this in the mail Monday morning!!

Oh!!!!You stole those from me didn't you! I better go look at my stash.

I thought I was the only one who saved those parts of jeans and used them....LOL

I know what I do with them but what do you do with them? Hmmmmmm...............

It's not about being perfect, but enjoying what you do. Set aside time to be creative.

a rug!? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, as I'm always looking for new ways to repurpose things rather than throw them away!

I love the hems of jeans. The rug was my first thought but since someone has already taken that one. so the only other thing I can come up with is, well, what I do with them. I crochet them into bags/totes/reusable shopping bags. Maybe that is it? Can't wait to see what it is.

Nadine, are you going to make an apron? I have no idea how, but it could be done I suppose. Or I like the lead rope idea, too. Braid them all together and that would make a really good strong rope. Or hair bands? Or head covers?
