For all of the quilters, a new barn quilt video for Fall 2009 has just been posted on You Tube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUhUqE42x80
It mentions in it the article in the October-November issue of MaryJanes Farm magazine.
We hope that many of you will be able to come to our county and take the self-guided barn quilt tour.
Best to all,
Carolyn

That is a fantastic you tube to watch. I love the idea, and I told my husband we need a barn quilt. So very pretty. Nice looking places too.

Thanks Michele

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Is it possible to make a "home quilt" that's smaller in size then the barn ones?

Hey Dawn, why not make a home quilt. They are painted, so any size will do.

Thank you for letting us know about that. Iowa has several counties doing barn quilts and I have seen some in Minnesota too. I love barns and love to see them get set off with a quilt.
