Well, now that things are pointing back to Texas, I would love to get us all back on the roll again and get our Henhouse alive again. I do need to renew my membership but I am also working on some new ideas for us to get us going. If everyone who is interested would post here, so we could get a count, that would be Texas-terrific. YEE HAW!!!
And don't forget, once I get settled back in Texas, I will TRY to get us all together.

Absolutely Brooke...heck...Give me a tent and a night light and I am good to go!! It will be so much fun!!! I have ideas for themes, projects, fun prizes and just good ole gal stuff swirling in my head!!! LOL

That would be awesome! And yes, it would be great to camp out there. My brother has done it. My mom has her very own farmgirl camper out there ..she is building her house there soon though. It has huge oak trees! Just gorgeous.. I've been meaning to get photos and put them in a 'farm of her own' section. I'll do that when I can.
It's time for the HOTTIES! LOL

I was able to sign up and now I will be waiting on my OFFICIAL Farmgirl Sisterhood membership in the mail! They have an october special so when you sign up, you get the Stitchin' Room book! That is GREAT. So on top of what I just got (the Ideabook and Gluten-free budget mix), I went ahead and got the membership and Stitchin' Room book! YEEHAW ! It's gonna be good being a HOTTIE for sure. LOL

1. You measure distance in hours. (like Lubbock is 8 hours from Houston - who knows how many miles it is)
2. You've ever had to switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day.
3. Stores don't have bags; they have sacks.
4. Stores don't have shopping carts; they have buggies.
5. You see a car running in the parking lot at the store with no one in it, no matter what time of the year.
6. You use "fix" as a verb. Example: I am fixing to go to the store.
7. All the festivals across the state are named after a fruit, vegetable, grain, or animal.
8. You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked.
9. You carry jumper cables in your car ..for your OWN car.

21. Going to Wal-Mart is a favorite past-time known as "goin wal-martin" or off to "Wally World."

23. A carbonated soft drink isn't a soda, cola, or pop ... it's a Coke, regardless of brand or flavor.
