Just posted a picture of a good book you might like to read. Boy is it windy and rainy here yesterday and today. 50 mile an hour winds and the most rain I have seen in a loooong time. They said if this was snow we would have between three and four feet.
Going to make some brownies and take my daughter to work, and get some stuff ready for a chairty pickup. I wanted to go to the thrift sometime this week, Haven't made it yet.

That does look interesting Nancy Jo :)

Wow, those are some strong winds! We have snow in the forecast for Thursday, I hope not unless it's a light dusting. I'm not quite ready for that yet. And I want to see the foliage too!

Enjoy your brownies, and I hope you can make it to the thrift :)

Interesting book about an interesting man. It has been windy and rainy here too. I was hoping for a good rain but now that it is here I want the sun back. MB

Thanks for the tip! I'm always looking for a good book. It isn't windy here, but it's been raining a lot. We have sunshine today, but it's supposed to rain all weekend. Hey, Nancy Jo! Can I have a brownie? They sound so delicious! I'm starving, and I still have at LEAST an hour to go before lunch!

Looks like a great book. I was lucky enough to tour his house, where he wrote his wonderful books, a few years ago. What was even better was that Harriet Beecher Stowe and he share a back yard (kind of) and so I got to tour her house too! I drive my family nuts with my love of history and one of the things I love to do most is visit historical houses.
