Welcome Mary Jo, and afternoon ladies, I have been doing some serious spring cleaning. Everything smells so nice. I thought while I had some days off, I would do some things around the farm I wanted to get done. Just thought I would sit on the porch for a rest and then back to work.
hugs and blessings tammy

Howdy Shirley! This is the perfect porch! Lots of good weather, good food, good friends, and no calories! I even like to sit on my real porch with my laptop in good weather and drink coffee while I'm visiting here!

Hello Shirley! It's just kind of an imaginary porch where we talk about our lives and bring all sorts of treats to share! Pull up a chair and dig in! Deborah, that butterscotch sounds yummy! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

Tammy, funny thing is, I was just looking for tea themed fabric as well! I posted this link to what I've found so far. I simply MUST have a tea pot tea apron =) It's a very pretty day here, with blue skies and dramatic clouds and is it ever windy! My garden seeds just arrived and I'm thrilled and can't wait 'til the ground dries out a bit to get the tiller out there!
We'll, I think that all of this excitement calls for a cup of tea! I have Tetley's regular tea, wild berry or green ginger, they are all good.

Wow need to prop my feet up. All day working at the farmers market here in town and I am dragging. How about some tea. A bit of mint would be nice. Please don't mind if I nod off a little. Not for too long though. I have to get easter eggs ready for all the grandbabies tomorrow. I hope you all will have a blessed day. Now for that chair and tea.
Every Day is a gift from God, Rejoice and be glad in it. |

Well today some very funny memories got duplicated. My D-in-law came over this morn to ask if I know what would remove food coloring from hair (she was coloring eggs with the boys, my G/sons), I asked her if she leaned over and dunked her hair in the bowl, and she said "NO", the boys deceided to color the two little dogs while she was in the bathroom, ( these 2 boys are 5 1/2 and almost 7, so they knew better), so Pickles the rat dog, and Ruby the cairn terrier are now multi-colored, with red, blue, green and purple, plus yellow and orange spots and stripes, lol. I told her, it won't hurt the dogs, while trying not to laugh, and we can put some bunny ears on them, and tell everyone they are "rare" rabbit eared, calico dogunny's. needless to say, she was not happy, but couldn't help but laugh also, as we told the boys that there would be no after dinner dvd tonight. So anywho, thought you'd all getta big laugh at this. Have a wonderful Easter, and if you see one of them calico dogunny's, catch it, remember they are rare critters, lol.

LOL!!!! I can just picture the boys having a ball dying the dogs. And then the look on mommys face whan she see it. You got to laugh. It will be a memory that gets told for years to come.

Teresa, that is so funny! I once colored my jeans on accident, and my Mom was not happy at all! I'm just going to sit and crochet a while. Maybe I'll read too. Who knows? God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

After being with my grandkids and nieces and nephews all day, 10 of them, I'm ready for a nice cup of tea. Lemon meringe pie, YUM! Thats my favorite.

Teresa: How funny. However, the boys gave me an idea. I wonder what Luck Dog, Zoe, and Gracie would look like if I colored them pink, blue, and green. LOL. I'll be giggling about that all evening now. Good memories for you and your daughter-in-law. Marly

My little sister had a prairie dog as a pet years ago. It got out of her room and into the kitchen cupboard, knocking over my blue food coloring bottle. The lid was cracked and leaked everywhere. We came home from school to find blue footprints all over the house, carpet, furniture and up the curtians. We found her sleeping on top of the curtians on the shelf with blue feet, teeth and lips! Mom and Dad grounded us both for a month and made us pay for the cleaning company. We still have pictures of the little scamp all dyed up on the family picture wall at my folks house! I love Easter!
