Try Avon....its only $10 to get started and it sells itself. I love it!

I agree Dawn. I would look into an Etsy shop. I am homeschooling my son and wanted to have work at home as well so I opened one and now we've moved into a regular website. Is there any kind of craft you're particularly skilled at? Card making, crochet, jewelery? We only started making soap a year ago and its turned into an obsession for us! We love it and its finally starting to make a little money! I would at least go into etsy.com and look around to see if will drum up ideas!
Good luck!

Hello Dawn,

There are many work at home businesses that are available to moms.
I started with a company last year that has Natural Wax Gourmet Candles, Skin Care and now Mineral Cosmetics.
You can retail in various ways according to your schedule, set up fundraisers, and team build. No quotas or territories.
If you would like to read more about this opportunity. Please feel free to visit my website and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Dawn! I'm also a stay at home mom (cleaning acouple houses on the side) - I'm looking at starting a "garage sale" site to help me clear this house out and make some extra money! A "trading post" site to barter away some other things and just started an on-line shop. Once I have all of my ducks in a row I'm ready to dust off the sewing machine and start adding to etsy and my new shop! Stop by and check it out and sign up for the give away on my blog!!

I work from home doing medical coding. I have supported my son and myself doing this for over 12 years now. It isnt exactly fun work but I can be here if the horses get loose or I need a garden fix on my break. Im also able to homeschool my son this way. I know they offer grants and such for school but you have to make sure to take an accredited program. Training is under 6 months. :) $25 hourly is very achievable.

I've worked from home for almost 5 years. I set customers up to buy safer, greener everyday products directly from the manufacturer at savings over stores. It is not an MLM - I tell a little about it on my blog, on my What, Where, Why page. You can leave me a comment and I will get back to you.

Hi Farm Gals~ ~
I'd like to chime in on this topic too. I have been working from home in the same business for 12 years now and I love what I'm doing. I show people how to live a more natural lifestyle with our Natural cleaning and personal care products. It's easy because so many folks are now looking to replace the chemicals in their homes. From a cleaning product to shampoos, toothpastes, skin care and baby care. Safe products that you can use to replace the harmhul chemicals in your home.

I can also show you how to build a natural first aid kit. There are many other products in our line but you can start with just a few. I would love to chat with anyone who is interested in knowing more.

For folks who have an interest in natural health products I am a distributor for Nature's Sunshine Products and New Sun Health. If you have friends or connections with people who tend to turn to natural health products for their own health building you can really make quite good income. It has to be something you are interested in though. I have worked with it for almost 30 years, in the good and bad times of my life and the economy and still on my worst months I can clear $1000. But I do have a good bunch of established buyers.

Hope you find something you are interested in as it is a priceless thing to be home with your kids.
