Nancy, I have been a winner of a blog give away and now I see you are doing one. Yes, I'm blonde but could you tell me the reason for the blog give aways? Is it to get more people to visit your blog and if so why? I am wanting a blog but want to learn the ins and outs of them first.

I don't think the giveaways really have anything to do with the blogs. Mostly, they are done by generous souls who just love to share with others.
I know this to be so in the case of NancyJo. I don't have a blog but have done some giveaways of things in my stash that I no longer use but that someone else might be interested in having.
Sometimes it is just so much fun to put some things together and bless someone else with them.
God is good....all the time.

Melody June, I usually do a surprise drawing right here on the site, but this time I thought I would show what I was giving away. I don't know how to put a picture here.Also there are girls who visit my blog that are not on this site.
As far as having a blog, its to me like going to visit different people and seeing their houses and what they are cooking, and getting to know them. Kind of like when we were younger and before the Internet, having a pen pal. I think we learn a lot from other women and this is a good way to connect. As far as giveaways, its just something I like to do, I only wish the postage costs were not so high I would do a lot more of them. But having a blog is whatever you want it to be. To Some its more like a daily diary, some more cooking, some more family events, some crafts, etc. So if you are thinking about a blog, go ahead, I would love to see what you put on yours. Just put whatever you want on it. Its seems Women in general are always interested in what other women are up to, even if its whats in the top kitchen drawer. HA.

Thanks Nancy. I have looked on the net to start up a blog and you can get the basics but there are always the in's and out's you have to learn along the way. I think I still worry because things like blogs are free to do, like a unknown bomb is going to blow up. I was starting to think that maybe you had to have a certain amount of people visit your site a month or a fee may be applied. It is nice to know now that is incorrect.
