I found out yesterday that I was accepted into a CNA program. It is 4 weeks of training at a Rehab/Long Care facility. Their aim is that you would stay on with them after the state test, or you can go anywhere in the state to work.
Anyway, after 28 years of being a homemaker, and no desire of having a career outside the home, I am having to go to work full time. My stomach is so cold. It feels so strange to be doing this, but now being the bread winner, I have no choice.
I'm sure that once I get into the routine of it all it will be fine, but golly!!!!
ramble, ramble, thanks for letting me.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

oh Julia, you can do it! Being a homemaker is so much harder than most jobs out there, but think! This job actually ends at a certain time and starts a certain time! AND you get some alone time in the car (hopefully) travelling to and from work and school! I'm a homemaker now for about a year and a half and boy do I miss my commute time. The car was always the best place for me to pray. I'm rootin' for ya!

Julia, I think your going to enjoy working, it's a little scary having to learn new things but I bet you know most of them already, after all you've been a homemaker for years. I also agree with Heather, alone time in the car is great. I always pray in the car. (Dear God, Please get me out of this snowstorm.) You will do great! Have fun,

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

thanks so much girls. Everytime I think about monday, I get butterflies in my stomach. I know once I get into the swing of things it will be okay. And yes, Sharon, God is sooooo very faithful, for which I am so grateful!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.
