I turn the channel and Murphy's Romance with Sally Fields and James Garner is on. Now I have to decide if I want to stay up or not. Do any of you like this movie?

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I have never heard of it before. Get a pillow and a blanket and maybe you can have the best of both worlds- watching the movie until you fall asleep!

Oh, Alee you need to watch this movie. You will probably like it. It's about a mom (Sally Field that moves into this run down farm house and fixes it up and then boards horses to make a living. It has a lot more to it though. Pillow and blanket are handy and ready just in case!

I had not watched this movie in a long time, so we stayed up and really enjoyed it. Darn, if we all lived closer we could have had a great slumber party. Too bad they don't make movies like this anymore. It was made in 1985. Now I feel old. My hubby said "just think the twins in the movie are 25 years old now".

I love this movie. James Garner is so cute in it. Especially in the last half when he and ex-husband start competing for Sally Field. It is so sweet. I just love it!!!

I wish that it would have been available here last night. I've been in love with James Garner since he was Maverick and I was eight. My favorite scene is at the dance, when Murphy and the ex are cutting in on each other. I think that the big guy at the birthday party must be a friend of Garner, because he was always beating up Rockford.

I Adore this movie! It's so funny but I was thinking about buying this and "Places in the Heart" with Sally Fields on ebay last week. Two totally different movies but both big time keepers. And yes James Garner was SO yummy in Murphy's Romance wasn't he? I just kept thinking that it'd be super nice to look like Sally Fields did in her jeans. sigh. LOL!

I love this movie and watch it everytime I see it on TV. I couldn't even tell you how many times I've seen it. Before it started playing on tv I used to rent it a lot. James Garner and Sally Field are wonderful in it.
