I've been trying to de-junk my home a little lately.
I have a few item that had belonged to my husbands grandparents, both deceased.
I'd like to pass them on to my husband's daughter, but I also know my husband's uncle is here from out of town and I maybe some items should go to his kids as they were not here when things were passed out.
My sister-in-law is a hoarder and I know if I say anything to her, she'll want it all.
I not sure how to handle this with out making someone mad.

Hide the things for the daughter first, if possible.

Maybe you could pick out (behind closed doors) something small for each of the other kids and hand them out now to their parents. Keep all the things your husbands daughter would want the most and give them to her at a later date. Hope this helps & good luck! i know these things can be touchy.

I agree with the other gals. Someone will always be offended so don't even worry about that, not to mention that not everyone needs to know.
