Dear All -
Shall we do this again? I am up for it! Please only serious farmgirls who intend to do their part and send cards, letters or small items to your secret sister!
I will start the sign ups now and end at midnight EST on September 16th.
If you want to sign up I will need your name, address, e-mail address and a little bit about what you might collect or love!

Hello Sue, Ive never done one of theses swaps, is there a price limit so as Angela said one person isnt getting burnt. I know I have felt the same as her on some swaps. I would like to join also. But would like to know a little more about it, how do you know to send a gift, or a card or how often to you send something? Blessings,Karen

Please sign me up too! I too have been burned (on swaps at least) and need to recharge my faith in humanity, or Farmgirls at least!
I just went back & re-read MJ's column on bartering on pages 8-9 of the June/July 2009 (Plum Easy) issue: "A disappointing transaction carries with it a weight, a gravity that is hard to shake. I guess I left out some important details! They are as follows:
This session will run from September 25 and end on November 10. This is so it will not interfer with the upcoming holidays. If we do another round after this, I will start it in January after eveybodys busiest season!
At least once a month send your secret sister a card, letter and/or a gift. There is no money limit on this. Some girls really go over the top but that is not at all necessary.
One thing though, if you receive a gift from your secret sister, please post here that you received something. Most girls are concerned about their secret sisters receiving their gifts.
Also, do not put your return address on anything. Use MaryJanesFarm address which is: MaryJanesFarm, PO Box 8691, Moscow, Idaho, 83843.
And finally, if you sign up for this, please, please, please follow through, as there have been some girls whom have been burned as you can see from the above messages! This is very unfortunate for some I know, I was even hesitant about doing another round of this but so many girls enjoy this I decided to give it another try! We all know that things happen and people cannot afford to send gifts but at least send some sort of card or letter occasionally, don't just disappear. When girls receive not a word from their secret sister they contact me and I have to try to track down her secret sister; sometimes I get no response!
I don't want to scare you about this as the number of AWOL secret sisters is very low but it does happen. I only want to hear happy messages this time!

Please count me in! my secret sister will not be disapointed!!! PROMISE! this is my first secret farmgirl. I hate reading that so many girls get burned and only sign up for what i can do and will be able to follow through! I have so many great ideas already :)

Sue, can an old-timer do it again? I had so much fun the last 2 times. I so loved going to the mailbox and seeing farmgirl mail. It really brightens up the day to get surprises! So I would LOVE to be included again.
