hey gals!
in this season of my life, I am quite poor. so I'm having to make do with just about everything. I really wanted more aprons. So I went to the thrift store looking for bed sheets to make some aprons out of. But what I found was a bunch of pillow shams that would make the most perfect aprons! I made one so far out of a pillow sham that cost me only a buck! So, for a buck and about an hour of my time, I got myself an apron! so exciting!

you can see pictures and a bit about how I made it here:

post a link to your pictures in here if you get to make one too!

Heather, how smart you are. I am going to try that as well. I would never have thought of that on my own.

Heather - how cute and such a great idea.

I picked up some material at an antique shop that I thought would make a cute apron. After looking at it, it's from an old pillow or sheet. Going to my local thrift shop and look through their ribbons/trims to find something to go with it. May just have to take another look at their bedding stuff and see what would make another pretty apron.
