Has anyone heard from Cabinprincess (Melody June)??? She was the last person the box was mailed to and there are still ladies waiting to recieve the box after her. Please someone let her know we are anxiously waiting to hear from her and hope everything is ok.
We had so much fun with the swap boxes we are doing them again.
This swap will be for crafting notions (think small items that fit in a flat rate box). Anyone who would like to participate please post here and email me your address so I can get the list going. I will be limiting the number of participants to about 10.
The swap box will be a small ($4.95 size) flat rate box filled with all kinds of things, a journey book and the list of farmgirl addresses. Feel free to take out whatever you want and refill the box with as much or more than what you took out, write a note for the next Farmgirl and mail it out within 3 days with delivery confirmation. All participants must solemly swear to mail the box out within 3 days. Remember to post on here when you receive the box and when you mail it out so we will know when it is in transit just keep the destination a surprise.

Glad to see so many farmgirls are as excited as me. I will type out the list later this afternoon. I just poped in here to check on things.
Yes when you mail the package out please email me the delivery confirmation number. I think that would be super helpful in keeping track of the packages movement.
Hey ladies I did a little investigating to see what kinds of things you girls like so I can try to stuff the boxes appropriately but if you would like to give me hints that would be great too. |

I make greeting cards, soap, embroidery, bird feeders (all kinds), yard art, christmas decorations you name it I'll try it. This winter I will teaching myself to crochet and knit. I bought the books but I have to wait until the weather gets bad so I have a reason to stay inside.

I am not a crafter of one thing but have a case with little shelfs in it full of goodies. It has anything and everything you can imagine buttons, feathers, glitter, eyes, fuzzies, popsicle sticks, glue, you name it and it's in there. When my boys were young and for whatever reason could not go outside to play I'd pull it out and set them up at the table and let them go to town creating to their hearts content. I have a little grandson now just getting old enough to be able to start his master pieces so I need to up date the case. So for me anything would be fair game, we are limited only by our own imaginations.

With as light weight as most of these supplies are,a flat rate box will most likely cost far more to send than a regular priority box...Could save a lot in the long run!!! Flat rates are great for heavy items, such as metal & solid wood that weigh 15-20 pounds or more.

That is a thought. I will have to get my things together and weigh them and see what is cheaper. But delivery conf is a must. We don't want to lose all our goodies. |

I received the craft box on Wednesday the 16th. It was filled with lots of crafty items. Check it out. I figured it might be fun to see how it started out. Then the last person on the list can take another photo to see how it ends.
I took a few items out then added a few items. It is going in the mail tomorrow. Ummm can't tell you to who it is being sent.....But they should received it by Tuesday the 22nd.
