It is NOT finished yet, but I think it look s SO cute already :) I wanted to make a white one, but didn't have enough white to do that. Hence the pink lol. And she loves pink almost as much as I do (if THAT is possible lol) I had received the pattern this week from a fellow MJF gal. Started yesterday and just couldn't stop ;-) As I said, it needs some finishing touches...

The wedding dress

Close up of the top

Close up of the skirt, underskirt and petticoat..

Dress with a better view of thunderskirt

I also made the dress form :) The pearls on the top are from a pearl necklace I cut up and also made the necklace around her neck

This is when I had just finished the top yesterday eve.

The sleeves are in 2 parts, the top part is real puffy and the bottom part is very tight. I added some filling to the puffy part so that it really shows up :) The size is a barbie doll size.

I am SO wanting to make one for myself too, lol. But first have to finish this one and present it to her. Maybe will have it all done by tomorrow so might give it to her this Sunday after church ;0)
Will let y'all know what she thought of it.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

That is SOOOO cute!!!! Reminds me of when I made my own Barbie doll clothes and when my daughter & I made clothes for her Barbies. I never made anything for them this fancy though. Great job!

It's beautiful! What a great job. I am so glad that you liked the pattern. Love the pink! Pink is my favorite color, too.
Take care,

It is SO cute! It's absolutely adorable! You have a lot of talent-I was never into making clothes for Barbie but I made saddles and bridles for my model horses. i miss that kind of stuff (sigh). Maybe I should start again--girls gotta have fun!

Thanks for all the compliments :-)

I guess I should have fully read the comments I checked out the photo and thought the first one seemed small and looked at closeup then quickly commented. Its ok she will love it and Barbie doll will wear it proudly. You still did a wonderful job. Ha I probably put a smile on your face though.
