Ok, today was such fun. Strolling with good friends, looking at beautiful quilts and shopping the vintage goodies vendors....
I have to say,,,,Heather, Rene' & I spotted a sweet but very fragile yoyo quilt...knowing what they cost at antique stores we didn't bother to look at the price tag...but not Julia,,,,she braved the peek and discovered it was only $35. ...SCORE!!!! Julia now has a New-Old yoyo quilt of the most wonderful vintage fabric....
I guess it goes with out saying.."You Snooze,,,You Loose!"....
Julia, you scored big time!
I posted pic's of some of the quilts at the Buggy Barn Quilt show today. (katmom4)...

I just checked out your blog, to cute!! I love that little wash basin. Where can we get one in pink?? I just know it would be perfect in my cottage tent. Will you share your info?

hey "Mz Glamping Queen" well? fun? Ready for Oct?
BB was very nice, not overly crowded...there was a vendor there that sells vintage fabrics as well as other goodies..Julia bought a vintage yoyo quilt for $35...OMG! A bit tatered but still well worth it.
Go girl go...oh & we loved your quilt...you just amaze us all the time,,you have all these hidden talents...
Go at 10am, cuz the masses start showing up around noon...infact I would hit the Vendors 1st & then view the quilts.....I posted a few pic's on my blog.

I just realized you live in Athens, TX. My hubby's Father & family are from there,,,most have passed on or moved on, but I think there are a few left in town.
I found the cute pink wash stand at a fun shop in Rockford WA., called "Hurd's Merchantile". The sink comes in pink, yellow & white..I suspect if you type in vintage retro wash basin in your search engin you might be able to find one. I want one, but I will have to dig a little deeper in tween the sofa cushions to find enough loose change to buy one! LOL!

I plan on going early, I am glad you guys found good stuff.

My Aunt helped with the quilting part but i did do all that dang Sue myself.She took F O R E V E R!!!!!!

I am still thinking about what a great day we all had, and the fun & friendship has not ened....
p.s., Julia, I swung by your house today, Doc said you would be back shortly, but I was a little "horsey" smelling, had fun playing with a neighbors mini pony & donkey.....sorry I missed you.
