Just trying to see whether there will be any interest in it. I was thinking about this when I saw the thread about buttons for slippers :)
Wouldn't it be nice to have a swap, where we will be paired up in 2's and make (knit, crochet, sew or whatever) a pair of nice, sweet or outright funny but wearable slippers for eachother??
Eventhough I only see ONE reply I am still trying to start this.
Sign up starts NOW until the end of August so you have about 8 days to sign up.Send by date would be the END of SEPTEMBER
This is a one on one, so you will be signed up with one partner for whom you knit, crochet, sew a nice (or a funny) pair of slippers.
You just sign up here and at the end of August I will assign your partner. ]

Hi Marian,
You can sign me up although I am very new at knitting and don't crochet, so I guess my only option is sewing! :) But, I have a pair in mind! I would love to do this, I live in my slippers all winter long!

YAY thanks girls, lol. I was "afraid" nobody was interested duh. I love and live in slippers in the winter too so thought it would be nice to swap them.

Oke, since there are only :( 5 (five) girls who would like to do this, I am posting partners. Sorry I am a bit late with this girls.

I am doing 2 pairs, because we have an odd number. I don't mind making 2 sets, so no worries.
Email eachother for addresses, color preference and size.

Thanks Angela,YOURS are ready, just need to find a few small things to add and then they are in the mail. HOPE this week. The little bus is not going this saturday due to a party the drivers are having. SO think I will go Friday and get the things so I can mail them Saturday :)

| LynnMarie, Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner... My Dad fell off of a ladder 3 weeks ago and is still recovering. My mom isn't doing well either. She is having Kidney failure. Between my son playing football (his senior year) and Mom and Dad, I have soooo busy! Yes, i recieved your slippers! and Yes, I laughed as SOON as i opened the package!!!! I am almost finished with your slippers. I will get them out soon... I couldn't follow the instructions, so...i made up my own... you know how that goes. thanks, Lucy |
