I've been all over the internet looking for a hot to or a pattern for a floppy hat cause i'd love to make one and they honestly don't look too hard. but my search has failed and i know all you crafters out there will be with me on this one..it is going to keep me up all night, i will stay awake and scheme a plan to make that floppy hat..lol has anyone seen a pattern or know of any how to's. any help would be greatly appreciated

MaryJanes magazine had the pattern in it...I think it was not the recent issue but the previous one...Spring?

Shayna, I think I still have a floppy hat that I could send you-its toooo floppy for me. It is store bought but if you crochet, you could probably figure it out. I will try to find it and get a picture for you.

Lark publishes a wonderful book called Happy Hats and Cool caps, which is filled with patterns for lots of nice hats for all the family. I have made one big brimmed hat in that book for several people and they loved it. I made myself a hat from it that I loved, but it disappeared on me... If you can get a copy from the library it is easy to make patterns form the book, I used newspaper for mine...

Karin, Thank you so much. I'm gonna check out the library monday during my travles..do you think you can photocopy pages of books from their.not sure if that would be a copy right issue. thank you ladies for all your help
