Hubby put me first over his family!! Shocka!
Remember a couple of weeks ago he agreed to go fishing with his daughter and SIL?? Well, Saturday came and went and I never said a word, he didn't either. I wondered about it but figgered if he wanted to go, he would have.
So, either yesterday or Sat., he got a call from his daughter about next wknd, going fishing then. He agreed. I said for him to go but I had planned on going to the horse show. We had already talked about the show several days earlier and he said he would probably go with me.
He looked at me, picked up the phone, called his daughter and said he couldn't make next wknd, we're going to the horse show!!
WOW!!! 
I'm telling you, unexpectedly, my heart just about burst out of my chest! I felt so much more LOVE for him than I've felt in a long time. He put me FIRST over his family!!
I was a little shaken to my core! Of course, there will be the predictable fall-out but whatever...I've learned to ignore most of it anyway.
But, over family, I came first! Woo-hoo!!
