Friday, the assistant manager of The Harbors phoned me and asked to set up an impromptu "interview" for a part-time Resident Assitant. I was in the office at 1:00 for the interview and back to work as an RA at 3:00 that afternoon. I just finished up after 3-days and it is going so well. So much better than being the "Dining" room manager. This is such a better "fit" for me. Even though I have been doing lunch and dinner this past weekend besides other RA duties. My hours are going to be from 4:00 until 8:00 in the evening and every other weekend. What a relief it is to know that I am back in the "paying" work force and can lift some of the stress off of my DH...I have learned my lesson. "Pride goeth before a fall."

Also...I can finally get to some rummage sales...haven't done that this summer too worried about expenses!

Thank you all for praying for me and sending kind and helpful thoughts my way...it has made ALL the difference in the world.

Biggest hugs.

Yeah Melody!! I'm so glad everything has worked out for you. Is that a "melody" I hear you humming?? LOL

Smiles, Melody June

PS I add my middle name here as not to confuse people here with our like names. I did a barter with a young lady and she thought my name was Melody June Smiles because of the way I end my posts. She sent my barter package that way. I thought that was just the cutiest. We bartered fabric for a quilt she is going to make so she just told me her first quilt will be named Melody Smiles. LOL

What good news, especially the part about getting to go to the rummage sales again. Bravo!
