Thanks to Sharon (Calicogirl), I now have a copy of the MJF Simply Bee issue! I was wondering if anyone has every used the method Mary Jane suggested for making a hexagon quilt with the cardboard templates? If so, could you share how that worked?

What does bump mean? If you still need an answer I can send it to you. That way is much more time consuming the just sewing seams. Let me know I'd be happy to explain the difference.

Hi, here is a site from another farmgirl on the paper piecing method.

http://sunshinescreations.vintagethreads.com/2007/03/tutorial-on-english-paper-piecing.html

I am making a flower garden quilt now with 1/2 inch pieces that's just regular hand piecing if you'd like to know about it.
