Well, I was walking out to the big garden this evening to pick beans and I happened to look over at the "chickens" garden. I saw a bit of red and then some more. So I hurried out there and lo and behold, I bout fell over. There on my tomato plants were actual WHOLE, not half, but WHOLE, ripe tomatoes!! And not just 1 but a whole basket FULL of WHOLE RIPE tomates. And there were chickens all over out there, too. Maybe they had gotten all they wanted and now are sick of tomatoes. I don't know and I really don't care but this ole gal is pretty darn happy right now!

Kristin: Nothing better than a fresh, home-grown tomatoe!!!!!!!!!! Happy tomatoe eating!!!!!!!!!!! Our tomatoes are just about finished. My husband planted more, but they are not producing yet. We sure enjoyed our salads with those fresh tomatoes. Marly

Woohoo!!! That's wonderful! We had a pretty good crop, but with all the rain, my tomato leaves are getting all spotty and yellowed. Doesn't look too good for them!
