two plastic "yard flamingos"...lol....I'm sure ya'll know the ones I'm talking about....I have some jewelry and decorative foo foo stuff to dress them up in, but no flamingos...lol...I want to stake them outside my vintage travel trailer when I go places...lol...cheesy, I know....but they are gonna look so cute with retro sunglasses, pearls, and cherry aprons on!!!
I have been in search of some for a while, even thrift store and garage sale hunting for them with no luck....
Anyone got a couple that they dont want anymore????

Oh Kelley you just gave me the biggest smile this morning.
My husband's parents used to participate in a neighborhood game when he was little. No one remembers whose flamingo it was originally, but sometime in the the middle of the night it would get flamingo napped, redecorated and the placed in someone else's lawn. This poor flamingo made it's rounds for years!

What an adorable idea, Kelley!! I love it! I don't have any of them, as Jersey doesn't really call for Pink yard Flamingoes too often..hehe Hope you find them! (Then I want to see pics!! LOL
hugs

OMG Kelley!!!! That is TOO funny! I'd have to have one of each.
There was a fundraiser here in our county where you could pay $20 to have somebody "flamingoed". For your money, the group would deliver 50 plastic flamingoes and set them up in front of the house or business for the day. Then that evening, they'd come and remove them all. Trust me, 50 flamingoes turns heads!

want another story about a plastic goose I dressed up?
After my divorce my X husband wanted to be kind and give my plastic goose back to me (naked at the time...the goose..not the X) anyway he tried to clean it and when he opened up the hole to empty the weight he said it soured and rotted and smelled too bad! I put rice in it instead of rocks or dried beans...it got wet outside for years...lol

My company was just "flocked" with flamingoes. It was a fund raiser for the local animal shelter. The deal is you have to pay $250 (I think) to get them removed from your location and then you can pay another $250 if you want to have them delivered to someone elses business. It has been fun seeing where they are going to show up next, and a good deal for the animal shelter.

Kelley, A gentleman here in the Tri-Cities had 90 of those plastic pink flamingos planted on his front yard during the night. He turned 90 today and that was a way of wishing him well.
