I remember picture blocks! We had set with a funny faced cartoon man and when you turned the blocks different ways, his face changed. :D Love those lamps. Especially the one closest to the blocks. It's so different.

Nice lamps. I have a bunch that I still use in the winter when the power goes off. Two years ago when our power was off for over a week I did some hand sewing by oil light and it sure makes me admire those pioneer women all the more. It is hard work because even tho there is light it not the bright light we are used too. I remember the blocks too. MB
Oh, your lamps are just wonderful! - I think way back in the day, I had those blocks too. Seems like they were something I did not want to give away to the orphans in Mexico, but I think I was convinced by my parents to part with them --
I'm on the lookout for some more lamps for this winter. An' even Tom sez he wants to go back to the thrift store this weekend to look "For some more stuff.." -- His Words!! -- Some things just can't be explained!!
Yes I like oil lamps too. Hard to pass one up when I see them. The ones on this shelf are all little ones. I have maybe six reg. size ones, and I have used them over the years when the power is out. They are also nice to take ouside at night for the picnic table or on the porch, they help keep the bugs away.
