Hi Grace,

I loved your blog as well. I like seeing what other vintage trailerites are doing. And I love seeing how they are decorated!

Grace...that is so true. I want another one just so I can do a vintage cabin at the lake decor...ducks and such. And, maybe a bit bigger...and with a potty...and I could go on and on and we're not even done with this one. I must say though...hubby might shoot me if I bring another one home...lol. Of course, I'm kidding, sort of...I mean he might make me live in it! lol
Ummmmmmm, I might risk it if I found an Airfloat!

Happy Trails!

Update, the decorating had come to a slow stop. I work for a school district and the kids come back next week so its been a little busy. I did do a little accessory hunting this last week one afternoon. This weekend the tempretures have dropped so it will be much more pleasant to work out in the trailer. I hope to get the new vinyl in today and finish up the curtains.

Your right about getting half way thru and wanting another one. I've been thinking of some cool decorations for the next one even though this one isnt done! I think I'll look for a canned ham and do a fifties theme with lots of turquoise.

By the way thanks for the hint on the paint for the stove. I wanted red and red is what I'm getting. Hubby is just putting on the last coat.

Pictures coming soon......

Good choice Heather....we did my Icebox in Cherry Red!! And I love it..mine didn't come with a stove, so we are looking for one...well...an electric hotplate at the least...we do 99.9% of our ccoking over a campfire anyways...would only use the stove if it were "cominagullywasher" ROFL!!

Does any one have any ideas on were to find old used saddles for display purposes? I've found a few at the flea market and antique store but the prices were a bit outrageous. Ideas ?????

Heather check out your local Craigs List...or post in C.L. to see if anyone has a free or very cheap saddle.
I was fortunate, and did a barter for the saddle that I just recently acquired.
The saddle is for my Aljo and I use a cute Flamingo plant stand for my Scotty...
You could use one of those lil wooden fold out-2 or 3 step, step ladders, paint it and put an old vintage cowboy boot on it and use it as a vase to cover over your hitch..
Took a peek at your trailer on your blog....soooo very cute! Now have fun Glamping.

Soooo.
We are selling the glamper. 16 foot aristocrat all glammed up on the inside and ready to roll for someone who wants some new adventures. Had to get a bigger camper so our 83 year old mom can camp with us. She is having a blast

Well, my husband and I both have an affinity for vintage campers, but I never dreamed that I'd have 2 of them! As of last night, we now own a '66 Avion. It looks very similar to an airstream. It needs some clean up, but it is cute and a little bigger than our first one. My husband promised that we would finish some home and 1st camper projects before working on the 2nd one. The first camper is a '63 mini winnebago.

Grace, I'm wondering if you could recommend a source for awnings. I'd be tempted to sew my own but it is a little daunting. I really like the awnings that are pictured on the sisters on the fly website for Sister # 823. She has 2 campers pictured. Thanks!
