I'm still pretty new here and want to join the sisterhood, but I was wondering about the extra9.99 for shipping? That would be 30.00 and maybe I don't understand it right? If that is the case, is it really worth it? My frugal self isn't sure. Thanks ladies

If I am not mistaken I think it automatically adds the shipping but that gets deleted when they process the order. I had the same issue with the calender. It says free shipping but when you check out it looks like it is adding 10$ for shipping yet they got rid of it when they process the order.

Almost.
Lessie Louise, for the new membership, there is a small shipping fee of $1.22 because we send out your certificate and other materials that go along with becoming a new member. Of course, if you order other items, the shipping is pretty much negated, because it's just shipped with the other items and really adds nothing to the weight of the whole order. Either way, we do adjust it after you order, and it is definitely not $10.00 all by itself.
For the renewal, there is no shipping charge, because we ship nothing out.
Someday, perhaps we'll be able to get our shipping program customized on the online store so all this won't be so confusing, and will actually automatically configure everything properly... In the meantime this does bring it to my attention that we should state that right out front: shipping $1.22 all by itself. |

Is that just an electronic copy of your Sales Order that you received via email? or does it say Invoice? If it's a Sales Order, then yes, we'll still need to process it; and you final amount is yet to be determined (because so far you'd still only be seeing all the automaticness of our online shopping program). If it's an Invoice, then I'll have to go have a talk with the guys over in the shipping area.
I suspect it has yet to be finalized, though. |
