I know there are a lot of creative souls on this forum. I wanted to invite you to see my "studio in progress" and to have the opportunity to visit 185 other bloggers that are also sharing their creative spaces at the "Where Bloggers Create" party.
Oh how I wish I had such a lovely studio. My studio is any flat surface I beat someone else to. There are so many projects not finished yet. MY oh My. You are an inspiration to move ahead and make plans for when someone moves out... hmmmm

Wende,
I ran across one creative space where she was using the staircase alcove where a dormer window was for her sewing machine area..it was really cute and functional...then she had a few other small spaces scattered through the cottage for the other work areas..it was really functional the way she did it..
I bet you could find a few corners to call "your own"

That's right! Find a corner and claim it! LOL At one point in my younger years I traveled so constantly that my "studio" was in one of those footlocker trunks..it was about 18 inches high and about 2 x 3 feet in size...of course, then ALL I did was counted cross stitch so it made it quite easy to carry tons of threads and linen and my charts.
