We're still camping at Hardy Lake. Been here about 10 days and will be going home tomorrow or the next day. As most of you know we camp often. My sister came over yesterday and went fishing with my son and uncle last night and caught a huge catfish. She was beside herself. We usually go out in the boat fishing but it was starting to rain so they just drove down the lakeside. The rain kept me here. Or I may have caught one too lol It's still raining and rained all night so it's a lazy day here in Indiana. Yesterday evening my dad and son and my sisters and hubbys came and I fixed bison burgers on the grill. They were really good! Dad loves them. Buffalo is supposed to be fairly healthy so Dad loves that part even more. He's too skinny now tho', but eating healthy is a good thing.

Hi Corinne!!! I am doing well thank you! My family comes to the campground with us everytime we come out and I love it! Of course we all just live 5 minutes away so it's very convenient. It's very nice here. But the lake and campgrounds was a very big sacrifice. People that had lived here for generations lost 100 acre farms just so this place could be built. And only about $30,000 was all they were paying for a farm that size. One man refused to leave and built a boat dock and would have to take a boat out everytime he'd have to go to town. His farm had been in his family for 4 generations. The water finally got up so far he had to leave. His cabin still stands on the point of the lake, but its fell down now. Makes me so sad. I would have been the same as him, theyd have to carry me off lol after they took my blazing guns from my tight fisted hands. So we appreciate this place very much as we knew many of the familys. Had it been further up the road my grandparents would have lost their farm too. I was about 5 when they started building this lake, I remember it well.
