Heather: Do you need to vent? We are here to listen. Marly

Heather, I think this was your Glass Cieling post you're telling us to nevermind. I do not think it's fair that society looks at women who are interested in excelling in their careers as being "abnormal". I mean seriously, whether you agree with her politics or not, look at Hillary Clinton. For that matter look at any woman involved in politics. They gave up everything to get where they are today. And yet, they are regarded differently in society and in the media because they are women. It's not right. If your goal is to get to the top wrung of the corporate ladder and be the best you can be, Kudos to you!!! I will gladly stand behind you waving a flag in your honor.

Thanks Ladies. I just sometimes get in a tither and then take a break and look at what I wrote and feel stupid.

Heather: I surely did not think you were stupid. I was a bit concerned. Take care. Marly

Hey Heather, sounds like you need a little time to sit and just breathe by yourself. Have a nice cuppa whatever and relax a few minutes. Sometimes I just want to jump off when the earth stops and catch the next round. It's ok to do that, ya know.
You could come across Tenn. and visit with me. It's nice and peaceful here right now. Till the grands come back from swimming.

Heather, I wish I could help with what ever is bothering you. Try to remember we need bad days to appreciate the good days. My dad has cancer and was given 3 months to live. He's upset as he will miss my son's wedding. I'm happy to be able to spend 3 more months with him. I hope what-ever is upsetting you is resolved soon. All the farm girls are here for you also. I know I am.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |
