Sometimes , I wonder why the heck do I sew???
I have goofed up 2 aprons this past week
they are suppose to be easy revereable ones??
Well, some way or other I goofed them up and they aren't
turning out right.
I am going to take them apart and make 2 ; and the
heck with them.
It seems lately when I sew I am always goofing it up!!
What is wrong with me.?
Maybe I should stick with crocheting and knitting; that way
I can just unravel
I can remember my dear deceased grandmother
teaching me to crochet
If she didn't like it she would say
" Now Sheila, you know that ain't the way that goes."
she would make me "rip" it out and do it again
I miss my dear sweet gandma
she has been gone about 11 years now and I still miss her
So
Anybody goofing up like me??
Please don't be shy hugs sheila

It seems that when I have been away from a craft it takes me awhile to get it back in the grove too. I usually will do some mending or something first to get in to it again.

LOL!! I goof things up too!! You made me laugh, I just decided to take a break from my latest goof up... and here is your post!!

For me, if I try to hurry a project along, that is when the trouble starts. . . I know better and you would think I would learn from all my previous rushing along errors! No worries, simply need to slow down a little and concentrate on what I am doing.

Sheila, we all make goof ups and mistakes. I mean really, we wouldn't be normal if we didn't. I sometimes just have to walk away for the time being and do something TOTALLY unrelated. It calms me down amd gets my mind off of the boo boo. Sometimes I even just sit down with a cup of tea and read a book or magazine for 10 min.

Hugs and smiles

I 'goof' up quite a bit myself. I started an adorable muslin bunny complete with pantaloons, dress and apron. I decided to make the clothing first and had to rip out the dress twice as it just wasn't neat enough for me. Then, and here I thought I was being so careful and putting the head on completely straight, I ended putting it on sideways and I have been sewing for years! Once again I had to rip something out. But she is finished now and sitting in my craft room. I named her Beatrix Bunny after Beatrix Potter. I got a bit frustrated, but I am glad that I finished her.
