I found all the images from the last pin keep contest under "buy the books". If you own Mary Jane's Stitching Book you can view the gallery of pin keeps from a link there. They're unbelievably imaginative!

Tapestry: Thank you for letting us know where the link is!!

Marybeth: Not sure what everyone will use. . . could be wool, sawdust, rosemary, fiberfil, it really is up to you, whatever you would like to use. No rules, just fun!

OK...I'm watching this topic and have to let myself participate.

The pinkeeps I have now move accross the table when I reach for them or fall easily...they get lost under the fabric on my table, so I end up using the ironing board for a pinkeep! and it has to be parked within reach. I could use either a wrist one or heavy one that sits firmly. I currently use corkboard on my fridge and things like that to keep needles and pins on handy for me. The paper calendar has been known to be a pinkeeper for me....
in other words...I could use one all over my house...LOL
LOL

Count me in. I'll join!!

Does rosemary make a good filler?

I wonder if any pinkeep could have at least "some" potpouri dried something for smelling??

Please add me to the exchange. I've been wanting to do some of these.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy loose emery for the strawberries?

Okay!! I have both of you added, "Yarnmamma" and "Brightmeadow"

Linda, rosemary is what has been used for many years inside of a pinkeep, sometimes with the saying " When this you see, remember me"
Rosemary means Remembrance.

Brenda, I know you can by the emery, I am sure if you google the term you should find a place or two on line. . . unless there is a farmgirl out there that has some for sale or barter???

Yarnmamma I was thinking....a questionable thing for me to be doing this time of the morning with no sleep yet but could you possibly use hook and loop tape to attach a couple pinkeeps to your work table? That would keep them from sliding around on you. You have to stay in the swap though....LOL

Okay! I have just added "GrammyGoose" and "Bushelnpeck" to our growing list!! So happy that everyone is so excited about doing this swap.

Yarnmamma, those wrist ones are really cute!
Tapestry, that is a great suggestion! I have passed that one onto a friend of mine, she was having the same problem.
Debbie, you are welcome!
