Does any one make floorcloths and if there is, would you please pass along the instructions?
Thanks,
Sandy

i made them at an 'historical arts camp' a few years back .. too many 'steps' to remember what all we did ... wasn't even very pleased with the two i made though .. but some were BEAUTIFUL! i googled 'painted floorcloths' and came up with this book from amazon.com ... and it is only $6.

Thanks, Frannie! I know they are very expensive to purchase, but I have seen some really nice ones. When you did yours did you use stencils? I am taking a couple of Rufus Porter aret classes (historical) and really love the look, so thought it would be nice to make a "cloth" for the floor. In my spare time!! Thanks for your help. I will check out the books and let you know how I make out.
