I have lost since April !!!
I had to go to the Diabetic Doctor today
I lost 5--1/2 more lbs.
He said that was 10--1/2 lbs since this past April !!
I thought I had gained some; but instead I have lost .
That is good news being Diabetic type2
It is so hard for me to loose weight.
When I think I've lost; I've gained
I can only look at food or smell it and gain weight !lol
They took blood work; so I won't know the rest of it till at lest 4 weeks.
It takes that long to get it back from the labs.
they have so many patients
The doctor was happy I had lost another 5-1/2 lbs
I told him that maybe I will loose another 5--1/2 lbs by the time I see in October.
I have to see him every 3 months.
I need to go to my family doctor next
I feel like I am always going to one doctor or the other.
It was $50.00 cop pay today.
Enough to break a person. !!
Anyways
Hooray !! I lost more !! hugs sheila

Keep up the good work, it is really hard to lose weight as we get older. I am working on it and have only lost about the same and I am putting in 6 plus hours in the pool and walking. I feel it is coming off to slow but I am losing inches, so I am happy with that. Great job, Sheila!!

Shiela:
I am so happy for you. 5 1/2 lbs is a good loss. Great! Way to go!!!!!! I'm a diabetic, also. Type 2. I found out in 1998, in October. The diabetic doctor said I had to loose around 40 lbs. I was scared to death hearing the problems that could come up. I walked 6 days a week for 40 minutes to an hour. Of course, I had to build up endurance to get to an hour. But I did. And, I ate NO, NONE, sugar. No chocolate, no cookies, anything with sugar was NO for me. After three weeks, I didn't want all that sugar anymore. When I went back to see the doctor at the end of January, I had lost 50 lbs. The doctor came in and out of the waiting room that I was in. He would look at me, go out, come in, look at me again, open my chart. Three times. Finally he comes in and asks, "What happen to you?" I said, "You told me I had to loose 40 lbs, so I did." He laughed and said, "No one listens to me." I did. I have kept the weight off since then. However, lately (last six months) the chocolate has been tempting me. LOL
Good luck when you weigh in next time. I bet you take off ten pounds. Marly

Thanks for congrading me on my weight loss
It is so hard to lose 10-1/2 lbs in a few months.
I tank God that He has helped me.
And yep
Marly
I know all about the temptation of Chocolate.
It is funny ;
I use to not care that much for chocolate when I was growing up.
When I became Diabetic ;
it is a different story ha.

That is great, Sheila! What did you do to lose? I wish I could get motivated. I think working in the garden helps me alot. Or I would be huge by now.

Keep it up. And that is so strange to say October is just 3 months away. Another 2 months after that is Christmas already.

Great Job!! You are certainly doing something right. Maybe the wonderful change in your attitude and the way you have been embracing and so appreciative of nature and life recently has filled you up emotionally and you don't crave the food to try and fill you up and make you feel good as much. I don't know about anyone else but the last few posts I read about how much you are loving your farm and how peaceful and good it makes you feel really moved me and I could see such a change in you. You may find yourself feeling better and better all the time.

Hugs
