What was your most memorable moment of the weekend? Were you with family, friends, a private moment, all of the above? I have to do some serious thinking on this one...there were so darn many great moments. Weekends like this one are the reason journals were invented. I'd hate to forget a single one of all the many special moments with my family, old and new friends, and even complete strangers. That's what I love about the 4th. It is truly an outdoor holiday where strangers can be friends sharing a picnic on blankets side by side watching fireworks, playing at the beach, enjoying a shady spot at a BBQ in the park, and so many other casual shared encounters just celebrating the freedom to enjoy what we have.

We make a difference. http://huckleberrywine.blogspot.com

My hubby and I had gone to our camp, about an hour and a half away from home. We WERE going to go fishing the entire weekend. But there was electrical problems that DH had to tend to. But, we had a wonderful 4th of July anyway.
