What a blast I had yesterday....I found these treasures at a Junk/Antique store in Oaksdale. The old Pepsi-cola box was bottled in Spokane (so it says on the side) and the brass mailbox is my fav! And who can't love another round basket for yarn or fabric? That's me! :D I could have spent a lot more....lol

Fun Karen - we found two treasures that we've been looking for in Palouse. DH got an old milk can for holding his fly rods and I found one of those old youth chair/step stool combinations - both reasonably priced and yes, I too could have spent a lot more!! Sorry I missed you this weekend

Amy Grace, sorry I missed you too. I saw a milk can at Oaksdale that I loved but did not buy. Yours sound fun. It was a great time and now I want to hit some of the small towns I missed! lol
 Laila, thanks, I got more today. Here's a funny one of Katmom (Grace) and me in the old flour mill that sweet Michelle took! I think this just posted in a weird place but I hope it worked.

Wooooooohoooooo! I had such a great time these past few days...and it was so great to meet you, Karen! I will email you with my email address! And I will post pics on my blog when I get back to PA. Monday will be a long day of flights....so no pics til Tues. Thanks to all you farmgals who opened your hearts to me and made me feel so welcome here in Spokane. An especially big thanks to Grace, Katmom, for opening her home to me and giving me a comfortable place to land. What gracious hosts her and her hubby are!!!

hahaha! yes, this was a fun weekend....and it was fun to see what we each bought....the vintage cast iorn radiator is still in my car!!!! not sure how hubby & i are going to lift it out! lol!
I know the "cateye-framed sunglasses" are silly, but I LOVE them! after all, I am Katmom!

 This was taken from 'behind the scenes' at the Oaksdale Flour mill. During the tour, Michele (Huckelberrywine) and I were checking out all the nooks and crannies and found MaryJane by some wonderful old wood machines getting her picture taken professionally, I just could't pass up a chance to get her picture with her bare feet! :D

Karen, with MaryJane dressed like she is and the softness of the lighting, this makes me think of those pictures of old places and the photographer happens to catch a spirit in the picture!

Karen, what great finds and pics. It was wonderful meeting you and the other ladies. Your home is beautiful and you are such a sweet lady. Sorry I was so pooped at the dinner to stay and chat longer with everyone. I really would have loved to go back to your place with the gals and try some of that huckleberry wine. I did try many things huckleberry up and down the Paloose. What a fantastic time! Hope to see you again at next years fair.
