I've used dryer sheets in my camper - and they worked great. I was told to use the cheapest that you can find and scatter the whole box in drawers, nooks and crannys, under bedding - just everywhere in your camper to keep the mice away during the winter and to have a great fresh smell when you open it up in the spring.

I like the horse wiping tip - thanks!

I've used them in plastic storage boxes for clothes (like kid's smaller clothes, or summer/winter wardrobe storage) and it keeps them from smelling stale.
Used ones are great for getting crayon off of everything! I've used them to get crayon marks off of glossy book covers and the table and the wall...can you tell I have kids?

Just like in the camper we use them in our school buses to keep the mice out. However our mice are picky they only stay away if we use Bounce.
I like the stabilizer trick, I'll have to try that on one of my next projects. Thanks!

I would also love to see a pic of the purses/scarves made from used dryer sheets!! I'm trying to picture it but my mind just isn't getting a good grip yet.

NeeNee, I've been told they do help with mice. However, having a few barncats helps as well! ;) I wonder how often you have to change them?

I have actually used them tied to belt loops to keep skeeters at bay. Didn't know about the bees though and they are super active right now on our farm. I've been stung twice and both times was right on my finger. My entire hand swelled up both times! Oh, how I hate them. Why they can't just do their jobs and leave us humans alone, I'll never know. LOL

I clean the dryer lent with a bounce sheet, then put all of them in a bag. When the fireplace has logs on it and we are ready to start a fire, I put all of the bounce sheets with the lent on them on top of the logs. Helps start a good fire.

I also use the dryer sheets to clean the back of the sofa where my cat sleeps.

I put one on my head and shirt during the deer fly season here and it works great to keep them away. They still hover but can't get close
