My husband has Nephrotic Syndrome (he is loosing protein through his urine) and it is causing Congestive Heart Failure. He's been in the hospital twice and they increased the dose of lasix (spelling?) to 240 mg a day. He may need to go to the hospital again because he gained 6 pounds in 2 days and I'm sure its fluid because he has edema in his feet and ankles. He is on a 2000 calorie, very low to no sodium, high fiber, low potassim diet. He is 60 and has diabetes. They say he is not even close to dialysis yet, but we could both use your prayers . . . him for health and will power to stick to his diet and me for strength and to be creative with food for him.

Thank you

Terri, I will pray for both of you. Something good to help with fluid retention is a tea made with cherry stems, boiled for 3 minutes and drank several times a day.
Good luck to both of you.

You are in my prayers. It's just so hard to feel peaceful when the husband is not well.

Holding you in my thoughts.
