I like to quilt and I found this great website:
www.connectingthreads.com. You can order a variety off fabrics and patterns or tools and books all reasonibily priced. I was working on my summer quilt and thought I'd pass on the info. Great info on the vintage patterns. Glad to know it. Two years ago I was sewing my daughter's wedding gown and doing the whole wedding, But Laura wanted her bridesmaids to wear the vintage little hates with the vail. Found a pattern from mcCall's. They turned out wonderfully, considering I haven't constructed a hat that requires making a formwith wire. But I did it! Happy sewing

Very good quality fabric and the thread is a great price too. I have most of their thread collections and now I always have the color I need for my quilting projects. Found a great little vintage cabinet to display it in at a flea market too!

They are a wonderful source of fabric and notions. I am always amazed by the speed with which my orders have been delivered, and the quality of the fabric is very good.. I am on a strict NO MORE FABRIC budget, I have more than enough to work with, but it is fun to look at all the goodies they offer. Ladybutton Fabrics is another great on line resource, as is Hancock's of Paducah. I just got a cataog fro them today and it is filled with such color, I'm trying not to drool.
