Oh my word ladies!
So I dropped my checkbook somewhere so I had to call my bank. Well they can't do anything but close my old account and open a new one which means my new card and checks will be sent to Montana...but I am in Idaho!! Very Frustrating!
Then while I was on the phone, one of the dogs got sick all over the floor and carpet and I had to use 2 rolls of paper towels to clean it all up! I wish I had my carpet shampooer here! I might spring for the cash to rent a machine. I need to call the house owner tomorrow to see if she wants me to.

I missed placed our checkbook a few months after I got married. Called the bank. Same thing back then we had to close the account and wait three months for all the checks to clear. In the mean time opened a new account and days later our checkbook was mailed back to us by a a very sweet spirit in tacked. It was a lesson I learned well and now our checkbook is always in a safe place even almost 26 years later.

Well I went to the bank and tried to get money so I could go get my license reprinted (good think it was still an Idaho license!) and the bank didn't want to give me money until I had ID and I couldn't get ID until I had money! Talk about a catch 22! They finally grudgingly gave me $40. Sheesh! It took 2 hours to get them to do that!
But now I have a license again and gas in my car and I am back at the Ranch. Life is good and I need to just breathe away the bad MOJO for a while! LOL

Glad things are beginning to work out. Hope it gets alot better soon. Funny after my daughter rolled her car the other day we picked up the rental. My husband opened the glove compartment and there was someone's check-book. We phoned the number and left a message but no one called back. Don't know if I should burn it to keep it safe or mail it back. Hope the dog is alot better.

Thanks all! I guess someone found my checkbook and since some of our information has changed since the checks were printed, they must have looked through my duplicates. They called the City of Laurel! Weird but I guess it works! LOL. Too bad I already had to cancel my account and got my drivers license re-printed. Ugh. Oh well! It's better than someone out there trying to steal my identity I guess.
