Ugh. I'm really feeling this long weekend, today. We had such a nice time, visiting family and friends and working in the yard. But today, I'm having SUCH trouble here at work! I simply cannot wrap my head around all this work, and I don't know even how to begin. I feel REALLY guilty....but then I must not feel all that guilty because I try to work and then I'm back surfing.

Don't tell my boss

I noticed that every Facebook quiz I take today (yes, at work) categorizes me as a mopy teen goth. All it takes is a three day holiday weekend, and we regress right back to childhood.

It sure is, Alee! Vi is doing wonderfully--we spent such a great weekend together, visiting family and friends. She's SUCH a good baby!

Amie, I laughed out loud at your post. And I wholeheartedly agree (not about you being a mopy goth teen, about reverting back to childhood!)

I'm with the rest of you. By the end of the school year I'm so ready to be done! I know it sounds so lame....after all I get the summer "off" but really....it is very trying!!! And just having some time for my brain to rest....and slow down. Lately my job is all stress and no joy. I know I need a big piece of cheese with this "whine" but I am at the end of my rope most days. My health has not been well and now with this horrible ongoing torture of poison ivy...I'm not sleeping at all... so what is it? A "mopy teen goth"??? Kids here call 'em EMOs.... I'm just a regular "cranky gus"!!!! BTW, this summer I'll be taking a class online of my own, gearing up to take on another grade level at my job, trying to get my own teen through an online Algebra class and still trying to keep a 9yr old busy with field trips and camping.....somewhere in there I hope to learn to ride a motorcycle. If I can just get through finals next week w/out blowing a gasket....I'll be good!

I have so much to do around the house, but it is chilly and I had to put on a fire, then I needed a coffee, Oliver needs a hug, while I'm hugging Olive, we might as well play.......as you can see...any excuse not to work!

Chilly, today, Melanie? Gosh, that actually sounds idealic. It's a beautiful late Spring day, here, with little humidity, but I'm a stormy coastal girl at heart. Give that Oliver a big hug from me and little Violet!

I work very early Saturday (vending at the Farmer's Market) so my days are all messed up. I feel like today is my Sunday and tomorrow is my Monday. . .
The fire does sound nice, we have had AC for weeks now. Almost in the 100's. I have to wait for it to cool down so I don't get heat stroke.
Glad your distracted with me from work, makes the forum more fun. lol
Enjoy your beautiful babies and the bountiful weekend.
Best,
h
