We put it in the mare's water when we are getting ready to breed them (about a month or so in advance) and all through the pregnancy. Not only does it help keep them healthy, it is supposed to help foster an internal PH that is more condusive to producing little fillies

Awesome ideas, love that it can deworm my chickens, I was just wondering about a natural way to do that, I'm going to start dosing their water with Braggs!
I've quit shampooing and instead use a baking soda rinse (1 Tbsp in 8 oz of water) rubbed into my scalp and then rinsed, followed by an ACV rinse (same ratio), on the ends. My hair's doing great!

Okay, one more... I'm 8 months pregnant and was on my feet a ton today... looked up some home remedies for swollen feet and found cold water bath, and ACV, so soaked my feet for like 2 15-20 minute sessions in cold water w/ about 1/2 cup of ACV in it and it really did help! Swellings not gone, but better, and they feel much better too!

I was just looking up a natural remedy for skin tags (little brownish bumps that form usually on sun-exposed places, like the neck), and sure enough, what did it say? Soak a cotton ball in ACV and apply it to the skin tags daily, and this supposedly makes them go away. I'll keep you posted! |

You ladies are awesome! Just bought some of the miracle ACV for my family. Can't wait! Hope it will help our allergies. So I can put a little in my dog's water too? Maybe not everyday (because of the teeth)? Going to get some raw honey too. : ) |

Well it certainly is working for my heartburn. Bit of work to get it down but since it works OK maybe a bit more honey.

It's Bragg ACV with the mother. You can find it in most health food stores and probably in the natural food aisle of larger supermarkets.

If you are going to use ACV, lemon juice, or lime juice, use a straw. This way it will go to the back of your throat therefore missing the teeth. Thats how I drink it, have been for years. My grandmother had us drink it when were kids. That was forty years ago, I grew up in PA and never had a cold either. |

I agree with the water swishing. It's good to follow with a glass of water anyway. Helps to flush the bad stuff out of your body that the ACV "loosens" up in your digestive system.

ACV with the honey added in is a good energy booster too! Who among us could use some energy. I drink it during my meals and sometimes after as an appetite suppressant and it works!! |

@ ranchmama that is awesome! I would never had thought to use avc on warts!! I will definately be passing the tip along. I knew avc had special properties because I make my own dog shampoo with it. Their skin issues vanish away--with the help of fresh aloe. But I never realized it helped so many other issues as well! Too cool! |

Amber, I would love to have your recipe for the dog shampoo if you wouldnt mind sharing it. My parents schnauzer has terrible dry skin and digs sores...we all love him so much it would be wonderful to give him some relief.
Thanks

My dog has warts too. Does ACV work on dogs too?

I have another question... Should ACV be stored in the refrigerator or in the kitchen cabinet?
