Judith you were right the first time we will do 4 as there is only 4 of us and you will get one of yours back.

I cut my fabric yesterday and drew my design on.

Yours are adorable, Carrie! I have one finished. Took a few days off for work and family things. Guess I'd better get crackin'.

Whew! Just names and date left. Ought to finish by tonight. This was so much fun! Hope you like my blocks. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I designed the image myself and it ties in to the up coming issue of the magazine too. :) I'll contact you, cinnamongirl, for your address. Looking forward to finishing and seeing what comes back. :) What fun!

Whew! Got them done and on their way to you! I just remembered to include return postage when I was at the post office, so the open and taped shut again was me, not someone hot for pilfering embroidered goodies . We had a giggle about that at the counter. Hope they get to you soon! This was fun.

I apologize, mine will be in the mail tomorrow. I was stung on the eyelid last week and have not been able to see. Now that the swelling is gone I am able to finish my signature and get these into the mail.

How on earth did you manage to get an eyelid sting? You have got to tell the story, now that you can see. I'm so sorry for your trouble and glad to hear you are doing better.

I am having the month from ****!! Seems like anything weird, bizare, or couldn't happen to anyone in a million years is happening to me!!

I was laying on my lawn chair, enjoying the fresh air while nursing a migrane, fell asleep and awoke to being stung!! I tell you, kids would have run screaming for their moms if they saw me!! LOL!

As if that was not bad enough, yesterday afternoon there was a power surge on our line from the electric company ( a loose neutral I am told) which caused everything electrical in our home to turn on and off so fast you would think the place was haunted! The lights got so bright I thought all the bulbs would explode. . . I ran for the circut breaker, to kill power to the house and as I got to the panel we lost power. ( Of course now I am in a basement in the pitch black, no flashlight )

An hour later power was restored and I had to open up an insurance claim with them. Blew out our fridge, coffe maker, damaged a couple of our computers, the router for our satelite internet ( I am on dialup at the moment. . ) and the list is growing.

Now there is good in all of this, I have some of the most fasinating stories to tell I will get a new fridge and my new sewing machine was not plugged in at the time of "the surge"

Ahhh, now the thunderstorms are rolling in. . . I think I need a vacation!! LOL!!

Well, thanks for listening ladies, and I promise your embroidery squares will be in the mail! Farm girls can do and will do!!!

Oh my! You really are having a time of it. Thank goodness for the silver lining! I tell you what, I'll appreciate that block all the more and think of your stories when I see it. Have a cup of tea and a deep breath, cross your fingers July is a better month for you!
