My Daughter and I went the rounds today. I posted a few pictures. Boy those church rummage sales sure are a bargain.I gave them extra money. The prices were so low.
I just put everything away, going out now and water my plants then get dinner ready and go to soft ball practice.I really need to lay down now, maybe a cup of coffee and a couple of Bayer and I will perk up.

I know, Nancy--my favorite little rummage sale is at Our Lady of Light school and I bought all this wicked cool vintage Christmas stuff there at the Autumn sale...25 cents here, 50 cents there. I felt like I was robbing them, but I guess all the great grandma's just cleaned out their basements

Hope you got some cool stuff--I'll be looking for it on the blog!

Wow, you definitely have the best rummage/yard sales anywhere, I love all the dishes you got, you have a great eye. it is such fun to look at all the goodies you get. There is an auction at a church near me tomorrow, but I'll be spending my money at the pharmacy instead, not anywhere near as much fun.

We're having one at our church in a few weeks. I missed the one up the road from here 2 weeks ago. A few years ago I got a basket full of old cotton dish towels for a dollar. I love them. The old kind with the stripe down the middle. I love yard sales and church sales. We used to go all the time. That's what I was doing when I went into labor with my 2nd DD. Yardsales. But I couldn't stop, I was finding such good deals. She could wait. And she did. She was already a week overdue anyway.

I saw a sign for a garage sale today so I stopped. The best thing they had was this great old chest freezer for five dollars!! It was great and it worked. Too bad someone else bought it! Darn!

I stopped by one on Friday afternoon. Mostly kids stuff but I found two pair of shorts, 3 sox and some baby hangers, all just right for Grayson. Oh, isn't that the best, I have an excuse to stop at garage sales, "why, I saw something for Grayson!" lol Should I tell you about the bisell carpet cleaner that was being looked at (and later sold) for $10! Dang! I really don't need one but what a steal.

I went to a garage sale that benefited a local animal shelter on Saturday, in honor of Nancy...and I scored! I got a framed authenticated print (No. 1325 of 2000) of a famous Kentucky Artist who studied in New York and died in 1917 named Paul Sawyier, and ironically, it's a landscape of the river near Pleasant Hill where Justin and I spend a lot of time ($1.00); a cool metal doctor's swivel stool from the 50's in GREAT shape and totally comfortable ($1.00) some crazy cool late 40's early 50's era solid wood dust bin from an office furnishings set (the metal tag on the bottom is some furniture company in Grand Rapids, MI--$3.00) and a silver baby spoon (free)...

It's the first time I've gone shopping at a sale for a while...we've been trying to streamline so I've been keeping myself away.
